Fahrenkopf says industry defense still a challenge

It wasnt much of a gamble to tap Frank J. Fahrenkopf Jr. as the first (and still the only) president and CEO of the American Gaming Association when the group was formed in 1995. At the time, he was a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of law firm Hogan & Hartson, running their international trade operation and specializing in corporate regulatory and legislative matters, but he had also spent 17 years practicing as a trial and gaming lawyer in his home state of Nevada and was the first chair of the American Bar Associations Committee on Gaming Law.
